  1. Wow, you have a lot of holdings that pay during November. Most of mine seem to be on the March/June/Sept/Dec schedule. Nice work!

    1. On the A,B,C cycle most of mine pay on C also. I have 3 that pay monthly plus my high yielders pay on B. Half my holdings pay in December! I try not to worry about it and just track quarterly.

    1. I had an unexpected windfall which made me confident to step up purchases this month. I do like to keep some money on the sidelines though.

  3. That's some awesome progress CI. $450+ in dividends for one month!! I'll probably hit that level next year but only because most of my portfolio pays out on the Mar/Jun/Sep/Dec schedule, I won't be close to averaging that sadly. Great job!

    1. Well I did fall a little short of $450, but I have a shot at it next month and again in February. You're making awesome progress I wouldn't worry about it.

  4. Nice month. I like the purchases, especially KMI and MCD. I added some MCD myself and KMI is high on my buy list still.

You do have a lot of payers in November including several I'd like to eventually own. I'm not worried too much now about spreading out the dividends though, I only care that they are increasing yearly.

    Take care!

    1. You have a bunch I want to own eventually as well. BDX, VZ, etc. I orignally thought 35 stocks would be enough but now I think I'll end up at 40 or maybe even 50.

Haha it looks like I'm in the minority of bloggers with my love affair of utilities. I prefer to play defense and prepare myself for bad times. When the market sours I know my utilities will still be in business because people will still need electricity. I know they aren't sexy or high flyers. I'm okay with that.

If half my portfolio is consumer staples, healthcare, and utilities I will be less likely to panic sell when uncertainty strikes! In theory atleast. haha!

  5. What can I say? Solid month, man. You had a monster month of dividends and added some quality additions to the portfolio. Like others, November is a weak month for me as well. I haven't hit the $400 single-month dividend income mark yet, so that's fantastic. I hope to join you in that club very soon.

    Keep up the great work.

    Best wishes!

  6. Some solid purchases, a few dividend increases, and a nice monthly dividend total... I'd say that adds up to a great month. Keep up the good work!
