Consumer staples are a good example most of the chinese people do not even have washing machines how do I know this I was watching something on CNBC about walmarts presence in china. They could not figure out why laundry detergent in many of their stores was not selling very well they did some simple research and found out that many of the chinese are not yet wealthy enough to afford washing machines they still do their wash by hand. Thats just one example of why consumer staples are such a great area of vast potential for american companies doing business overseas.QUALITY STOCKS UNDER 5 DOLLARShttp://www.chicagoillinoisbusinesslist.com/business/5066133.htmnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5232481098066200105.post-14912454260264255972013-03-28T20:03:37.944-04:002013-03-28T20:03:37.944-04:00Man these are cool pictures and great post!!!!!!!!...Man these are cool pictures and great post!!!!!!!!! Very expensive; Thais can't afford it. I can't afford it... GIS products are difficult to find, but I stumbled accross some. The $.30 Cokes are everywhere. The difference is Coke moves a lot of product, GIS does not. You have to pay up to find familiar foods from back home. Thai people drink Coke, but don't eat much American packaged food. They do eat ramen noodles and things like that, but from just walking around I can tell they tend to buy foods fresh and actually cook. There were all kinds of fruits and vegetable I've never seen before, very interesting.

Oh I had plenty of fun! My phone has a camera, it's easy to take a quick picture. I try to keep this blog about investing or I'd post my regular pictures. That's for family and friends I guess.Compounding Incomehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04207986983526689578noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5232481098066200105.post-50982419018134109192013-03-28T13:30:16.850-04:002013-03-28T13:30:16.850-04:00Yes it is pretty interesting, especially the flavo...Yes it is pretty interesting, especially the flavors of Lay's potato chips. Perfectly understandable as it is quite reasonable general purpose holiday destination these days. I was there and I didn't want to come back. Hope you enjoyed yourself. ;)

As for the stocks, yes, major brand seem to get everywhere. Good news for investors, bad for culture. Aside from big brands, I've given some thought about investing in Thailand's stock market. Airlines, such as AAV, are starting to look interesting as they carry an increasing flock of Chinese tourists every year.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
