One of them is flagged, so I have to make sure he improves (it was his run). So what if it takes 30 years. You won't have to rely on government handouts in retirement that must feel good. There is something to said for living in the present and enjoying our time on this earth. I'm looking forward to the day (hopefully I see it in 2014) when I earn $600/year in dividends because it'll add $50/month to what I contribute to my portfolio. Fortunately, my horizon for retirement is longer than yours, or I'd have to pick up my savings significantly!

Good luck with the running. It took me a year to take off 30 pounds and a year to put it back on. I need some exercise/weight goals. I've been dividend investing for 2 years. I can remember when the max contribution to an IRA was only $2,000/year for example. Much of 2011 was spent converting to the dividend strategy after I was comfortable with it.Compounding Incomehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04207986983526689578noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5232481098066200105.post-88445045789683481892012-07-13T05:26:54.671-04:002012-07-13T05:26:54.671-04:00I'm happy with the income that is being genera...I'm happy with the income that is being generated. It's great to hear you are exceeding your goals and I think you have a good plan reach your retirement goal in 16 years. Keep up the good work and I will continue to follow your progress. Also good luck hitting 2 miles in 15 minutes, I started some new workouts myself and it's tough to stay motivated sometimes.

"Energy and persistence conquer all things."
~Benjamin FranklinAll About Interesthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13412467028446944315noreply@blogger.com
